Rationale:
EcoSmith is an air conditioner installation company based in the Philippines. The company sells and installs affordable air conditioners obtained from large manufacturers such as
LG and Samsung. However, new entrants in the market are now offering high-quality air conditioners at reasonable prices. EcoSmith is having difficulty deciding whether it should follow its competitors and expand its product portfolio to high-end (advanced technology and expensive) air conditioners because there is uncertainty over the demand for high-quality air conditioners. If there is not enough demand, the models would have to be sold off at a low price, harming the profitability of the business. The report intends to help EcoSmith in its decision-making process with the goal of achieving higher profitability.

Data Collection:
Primary Research: Interviews and surveys will be conducted to obtain necessary information about EcoSmith and its customers. Interviews with the general manager will give context to the current operation of the business, while surveys with the existing and potential customers will give insight into the consumer trend
