The knowledge we define is information or understanding related to real life and theoretical concepts learned. Communication is the means of presenting knowledge, which can be done in the context of teaching or researchers sharing knowledge with the public. Moreover, to clarify ‘helpful’ in the context of communication of knowledge, it is when something supports and facilitates the understanding of knowledge presented by the visual representations. Yet, visual representations can become not helpful if it is not necessary, as they can be inaccurate, simplistic, and potentially misleading. Nonetheless, despite our prevalent use of visual representations in the communication of knowledge in our daily life, the term ‘always’ implies the necessity of visuals in the communication of knowledge and
