Prescribed Title #5:Are visual representations always helpful in the communication of knowledge? Discuss with reference to the human sciences and mathematics.

Visual representations are a mode of communication often based on a holistic and immediate visual in a form that can be seen optically, varying in forms from tangible objects to diagrams, tables, and pictorial representations. These representations are often used to aid in the communication of knowledge, especially for visual knowers, by allowing some to grasp concepts instantaneously compared to verbal communication easily. Although they are primarily intended to help deliver concepts in a simplified
format, there may be limitations in the communication of knowledge as they may not be the most suitable mode of communication in different contexts. The communication of
knowledge refers to the transfer of knowledge between one to another. Through the areas of knowledge of Mathematics and Human Sciences: Economics, the value of
visual representations as a method of communication can be evaluated. How helpful a resource may be is qualitative but can be assessed based on the extent to which the
resource helps to familiarize knowers with unfamiliar concepts. Although visual representations do help in providing an understanding of some knowledge, there are certain limitations in representing all forms of knowledge in a visual form.
